Mới đây, trang tom’s HARDWARE có cập nhật bảng xếp hạng hiệu năng CPU tính đến tháng 5 năm 2021, bổ sung những con chip Intel Core thế hệ 11 và AMD Ryzen 5000 series. Ngay dưới đây sẽ là bảng xếp hạng hiệu năng gaming, tiếp đó là hiệu năng khi chạy các ứng dụng (bao gồm đơn luồng và đa luồng). Con chip mạnh nhất sẽ được tính là 100%, những CPU còn lại sẽ lấy nó làm tham chiếu.

Bảng trên bao gồm CPU Intel Core thế hệ 7 đến 11, cùng với đó là CPU AMD Ryzen và Threadripper cả 4 thế hệ. Bảng này được sắp xếp theo thứ tự dựa trên hiệu năng chiến game ở độ phân giải 1080p, cột bên cạnh đó là hiệu năng ở độ phân giải 1440p. Đối với hạng mục 1080p thì AMD Ryzen 9 5950X và Ryzen 9 5900X dẫn trước một xíu so với Intel Core i9-11900K, nhưng với độ phân giải 1440p thì Core i9-11900K lại vượt lên dẫn đầu.

Hiệu năng CPU được đánh giá dựa trên số điểm trung bình sau khi benchmark các tựa game Borderlands 3, Hitman 2, Far Cry 5, Project CARS 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Về hiệu năng đơn luồng thì tom’s HARDWARE đã test qua các phần mềm Cinebench, POV-Ray, LAME. Hiệu năng đơn luồng sẽ liên quan trực tiếp đến những tác vụ hằng ngày như lướt web, xem phim. Tổng thể thì hiệu năng đơn luồng của Intel Core i9-11900K mạnh hơn 5% so với AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, một phần là nhờ kiến trúc nhân Cypress Cove của vi xử lý Intel “Rocket Lake-S”.

Các bài benchmark bao gồm Cinebench, POV-ray, vray, Blender, y-cruncher, Handbrake x264 và x265. Hiệu năng đa luồng sẽ liên quan mật thiết đến các phần mềm thiên về công việc, đòi hỏi phải xử lý nhiều thứ. Cả 2 con chip AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16 nhân 32 luồng) và Ryzen 9 5900X (12 nhân 24 luồng) đều vượt mặt Intel Core i9-10980XE (18 nhân 32 luồng). Đồng thời, TDP của chip Ryzen cũng chỉ có 105W, trong khi chip Intel lên đến 165W. CPU Intel Core i9-11900K có hiệu năng cao hơn Core i9-10900K khoảng 3%, khá là ấn tượng vì i9-11900K có ít hơn i9-10900K đến 2 nhân. Tuy nhiên, vi xử lý AMD Ryzen 5000 series vẫn vượt trội hơn hẳn.
